Buku2U @ Radia is a community library - a collaborative project under UEM, Sime Darby and Perpustakaan Negara Malaysia. Our main idea is to design an atypical library that does not only serves as a resource center but also provides a more interactive and future proof space for the community. The library includes a common reading area, discussion rooms, reading pods and lounges, specially designed reading area for the disabled, a digital lab, VR stations, gaming rooms, ipad stations, kids reading zone and an amphitheatre for mulitple event purposes. The library was designed with an open plan concept with each spaces color coded differently. The library is the first fully self serviced digitalised system library in Malaysia.
